Everyone told me, this is a great movie, different and interesting. I read what it was about and knew it would not appeal to me, however as the movie buff that I am, I gave it a shot, and found it silly, confusing and disturbing. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful, the costumes, the stars the storyline, was just magnificent. I had to watch from start to finish and watched it three times before I returned it. They just dont make movies like that anymore. Classic, Elegant, Stylish. A great Storyline. Loved it

I have always loved the batman series, not the animated but the movie franchise. This movie was good in a way, that you got to see a different meaner side to bruce as well as knowing that he does love he just cant have love. It was a let down that Two face died like that and was paired with the joker rather than the riddler as he was with Val Kilmer as Batman. The make up, costumes and sets were great wouldn't watch it again, but would recommend it to others.

I first watched this movie at the cinema with my mother and had never read the book, and still have not read it as yet. It was slow in parts and jumped around a lot. It also left alot of qustions at the end, making me question when is the sequel coming out and what will it be about. I will not watch this movie again but i will give the novel a chance. It was a chick flick. But not a BAD one.
It was interesting to see Justin Long in this role, not like his other characters. Suprised at how little Drew Barrymore was actually in it. I wouldnt go out and buy it but if it were on tv i'd probably watch it again.
